We understand that our customers demand great tasting products that they can use with complete confidence every time, so we invest heavily in our product development, quality and food safety assurance systems, to consistently deliver this to you.

Kagome Foods Australian Certifications.

The Kagome Foods Australia Food Safety Management system is certified to the GFSI benchmarked international standard, FSSC22000, by SGS International. This is one of the most widely recognised and accepted standards in the world. Kagome Foods Australia is also certified by SGS International to the ISO9001 standard for Quality Management Systems, and to the Codex HACCP standard.

Kagome’s Echuca processing facilites are certified to Halal requirements by Australian Halal Authority Advisers (AHAA), based in Melbourne. This certification enables Kagome to sell its products in international markets where Halal certification of all food is essential, including Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

Kagome Australia products are all certified by Kosher Australia as suitable for the Kosher diet, with Pareve status assigned to all our products.

Allergen Status

Kagome is fully committed to the health and well being of consumers. All of the products manufactured by Kagome Australia are free from all of the recognised allergens that are listed in the Australian Food Standards Code. This means our products do not contain wheat or cereals (gluten), soy, sesame, peanut, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, egg, milk or lupin, and the sulphite content is less than 10 mg/kg.

Product Traceability – From Paddock to Plate

All of Kagome Australia’s processed tomato products are fully traceable, right back to the paddock where the tomatoes were freshly harvested. In our vertically integrated business, we have complete oversight of the entire tomato supply chain, from seed raising to planting, harvesting, delivery and processing, and we utilise the latest GPS and RFID technologies to automatically monitor the movement of tomatoes through each step, and provide you continued assurance of the authenticity of our Australian Grown Tomato products.

Supplier Quality Assurance

We work with all of our ingredient and packaging suppliers to ensure that only materials that meet our stringent quality requirements are utilised, with full traceability maintained at all times.
